Stokes Township was notified by the Logan County Land Bank to start gathering properties for no cost demolition/clean up. With the last State program, the Land Bank demolished 34 properties across the county at no expense to the owner, who remained the owner of the property.
In the letter link below is a list of required documents for a property to be considered for this program. Also below is Voluntary Demolition form that each property owner must sign (and notarized) agreeing to the demolition of the submitted property.
If you are an owner of a blighted vacant structure that you believe qualifies for this program, please submit the complete packet of information required to Stokes Township Trustee, Steve Terrill at steven.terrill@me.com by July 27, 2023. An incomplete submittal is not acceptable. Stokes Township will then submit acceptable applications to the Logan County Land Bank for consideration.
